Granma

Granma had a stroke this past June and unfortunately, she just couldn't overcome it and she left us yesterday.

My puggie heart is heavy with sadness...I love you Granma and I will miss you terribly.

Tangled up in life...

...is pretty much the theme these days. Unfortunately Granma continues to struggle with her health, and Mom has been out of town a great deal this last month and a half as a result.

Still keeping my paws crossed-this puggie loves her Granma very much!

Sometimes things just bite

Sorry there haven't been any recent updates as of late. Mom has been out of town for the last three weeks 'cause Granma has been in the hospital. She's in rehab now and I'm keeping my paws crossed that she'll be out soon!

Whatta week

Whew...too many pugaritas over the Memorial Day holiday. I need my beauty rest!

The temperature hit 96 degrees today and I was panting like crazy-time to break out the blender and whip up some pugaritas!

Olan Mills moment

When Mom got her Canon DSLR camera last summer, she went a little bonkers with it (well, she's still a bit bonkers, now that I think of it). No place is safe from the camera. I tried hiding under my favorite chair but to no avail, so I just decided to strike a pose and make the best of it (oh, who am I kidding-everyone knows the pug is the camera diva).

Bad Mommy!

I'm not going to fire her, but looks like I'll have to discipline my blog editor Mom-she is woefully behind with posting! In all fairness, she has been a little busy, so I'll go easy on her. Just a minor puggy lashing will do...of course, she's already puggy-whipped!

Watchin' the world go by

I can't wait for Spring! My Moms will open up my favorite room...the porch! Me and my brother love to sneak up on the table and tell the people in the park across the street what for (especially the ones with their furry kids). Yeah, we're tough...until we get caught!

I'm all excited because I'm going to be in a book-this very photo! Ok, so I wasn't too thrilled when Mom took this picture-it's not my best angle and me and water don't mix. Boy, was I mad at her afterwards...but now that I'm gonna be a celebri-pug, I'll forgive her.

The siblings

They've been bitchin' barkin' about it so I may as well officially introduce ya'll to my brother and sister. This photo is of me and my sister, Duncan...this was taken a couple of years ago 'cause now her eyes are blue and she bumps into things a lot. We have kind of a love/hate relationship, so sometimes we get into a fuss. Mom says it has somethin' to do with "alpha dog" but I know the real deal: "Pugs rule"...and that's all I'm tryin' to do.



My brother and me are pretty tight. He's an obsessive attentive type...my Mom's call him their "special child". What can I really say? He's a loveable bonehead and does everything I tell him to (read that as puggy-whipped). He's my pug slave.

Cousin JellyBean

Since we just got back from Granma's, I figured it would be a good time to introduce you to my cous, JellyBean. Here's a picture of us just hangin' out on the couch and window watchin'. JellyBean is a cow chow...she's kind of big boned. She's one lucky dog, though 'cause she gets Granma treats all year long!
